What's going on there then? 10 players move from Serie A to the Championship team over the summer including 5 on the last day! Apart from Gianfranco "Total Eclipse of the Heart" Zola I hadn't realised that they were fully Italian owned these days. Now it's probably wrong to stereotype but if I was teh inland revenue I'd be keeping a keen eye on things down in Hertfordshire.

Thanks for that Bayern. A very interesting read. So the Pozzo family have a tried and tested process of setting up player factories designed to harvest overseas talent and sell it on at a profit. They've just opened an English branch. What shame that this will be done at the expense of the development of young English players.

It is indeed, they were in our group for the U-18/U-21 leagues too and then the Pozzo's pulled the plug. It is sad because they were so good at it, one teams loss could be another's gain!
