Good luck to him, don't understand why some here are anti ....
The only thing he did to get himself dropped was not be peter crouch.
Good player, good memories, all the best.

Why would Celtic want or need to take on his wages? They're going to win the title in Scotland for the next 5 plus years at a canter. If I was them I'd be looking at cutting costs.

We can only hope - considering the money, one of Pulis' worst signings.

Hope a deal works out for him. Good player, shafted by Pulis. Overall, he had a good first season scoring some great goals, Spurs away in particular.

Puyol used to hate marking Drogba... So maybe Celtic have a small chance now?

Hope a deal works out for him. Good player, shafted by Pulis. Dont agree with that either He did exactly the same at sunderland as he did at stoke. started like a rocket and then ran out of steam. will do the same at celtic no doubt

KJ was dumped by Pulis when Crouch arrived. KJ did have a strange patch mid-season as we all know, but overall I believe that KJ/Walters were more productive than Crouch/Walters

Won't be sad to see him go really. Some good moments in a Stoke shirt and some very indifferent ones too. Always going to be frozen out when Crouch arrived, but then again that happens all the time at clubs. To be honest I never thought he was an £8mil player and the sad thing is that we'll probably only get half of that back at the most.

Some if the negativity towards Kenwyne is a bit OTT in my view. Yes can be idle but up to the start of last season we had more of a threat up front with him leading the line, he gets displaced by Crouch and the result is less goals etc. This isn't a pop at Crouch by the way just my opinion that Kenwyne suited our system far better that Crouch does.

Can we have their left back and Hooper please ? No! Good luck to Kenwyne if he goes, but as others have said he's not shown the correct attitude.

KJ is lazy but at the same time he's been unfairly treated by Pulis.
Any striker behind SJW in the pecking order (exception of Mama) is being unfairly treated IMO.

I totally agree, as soon as Crouch arrived he totally lost interest and you cant blame him in a way, because he knows the manager will pick Crouch every single time. The fact is though we have not improved with Crouch. Jones and Walters were more effective than Crouch/Walters. Even our wingers seemed to be more effective with Jones rather than Crouch. Even though I think is a very good player, its just we dont know how to use him.

I think he's been very, very unlucky at Stoke. Unfortunately, if you break your transfer record on two players who play in the same exclusive position and cannot play alongside each other in consecutive seasons, you're going to have an expensive failure on your hands at some point. It's a shame, because he could have been good for us. His failure to have any impact last season was primarily down to the manager not picking him despite our indifferent performances in the league and his decent performances in the cups - and that is in no way bashing TP, because once Crouch had come in for £12,000,000, he didn't really have a lot of choice but to play him every week.
