Failure to address the issues that lead to a poor end to the previous season, a tactically-redundant 'tracksuit' manager, arrogantly thinking there'll be worse sides than them, a chronic lack of goals and creativity in the team...many parallels between us and that awful Dingle side of last season. Not to mention that Wolves the season before last were getting results against the Man Cities and Utds, but losing the habit of winning their 'bread and butter' games.
4 wins in 24 league matches tells it's own story. I really can see us doing a Wolves this season unless things change. OK, we may not get skittled 5-0 as often as they did because we're too tight at the back (when the defence isn't fannied about with), but we've lost the winning habit and momentum that a side like Wigan have.
What sealed Wolves' fate wasn't sacking Mad Mick. It was not sacking him soon enough when they were getting stale and stuck in a rut, and had plenty of time to freshen things up.

I think we could do with one of those stands, with some of the seats not offering views of the pitch.

You're right about Mad Mick. They hung onto him for far too long. I'm begining to wonder what Coates is thinking. Some of TP's attitude seems to have rubbed off with the players. 40 points is enough. No, it's not. You'll get nowhere if all you're worried about is finishing last. And end up teetering on the brink.

He's worried about finishing second and third last as well.

There are managers who tell their players what they CAN do, and there are managers who tell their players what they CAN'T do.
For one letter, it's a world away in difference.

Get a bastard grip FFS. So we lost a game. So what? He is trying to improve the team so lets see who comes in and how it changes the team. If we do get relegated I just hope that some of the deluded tools we have acquired since promotion sod off to where they came from again.
