Well, that 5-0 home defeat certainly persuaded the owners to get the cheque book out

QPR are backed by #1 and #3 on the Sunday Times rich list. #1 has more money than Roman Abramovich. I'd love to see them fall flat on their arses but it ain't gonna happen, shitty club for not much longer I'm afraid. How we failed to knock the final nail in to their coffin last season I'll never know. We had one chance at Loftus Road and another the following week v Bolton

So signing a 34 year old and a bloke who spends more time injured than playing,is considered a cracking signing. Thank god we aren't looking at a Spurs midfielder who has only played 3 times in the last 12 months.

Yeah, hope they fully appreciate the debt they owe to 'super Jon'! And to Stoke City in general in fairness, we gifted them the full 6 points last season I seem to remember without which they would not only have been relegated but buried and cremated too

I remember coming out of the ground against Bolton on the final day and saying to the old man that we have helped QPR stay up and that they will not look back on this for several seasons.
They have the cash to splash and on top of that can attract players due to their London location. Signing Carvalho and Dawson within 24 hours shows their spending prowess and that defensive partnership will be as good as most in my opinion.
Sadly we had the chance to relegate them on two occassions and messed up on both. Now we have another Premier league rival who we will struggle to compete with on the pitch and in the transfer market.
Its not all doom and gloom though as I predict Pulis will be in for Bobby Zamora in the not too distant future and he and Crouch would make a good pairing in a Pulis team.

They will spend and spend if only as a statement of intent. If Hughes continues to fuck things up they will go out and bring a big name manager in also.
Money talks in this league and QPR have it by the shed load.
