Apologies if there was a massive thread about this while I was away, just got back in time for the big kick off...
But now we've got pre-season behind us and the, erm, benefits of starting with pretty much the first XI that finished last season, where do you honestly expect us to finish up next May??
Heart says 14th, head says 18th... I'll go with heart.

Bottom 3 or top 10 - really is that wide open this season
The next two weeks will be critical for a number of clubs:-
Sunderland - done nothing really so far and they had a bad run at the end of last season
WHU - ok signings but nowt wow - should be ok
Southampton/Reading - we have a stronger 11 on paper, but after writing off us 1st season by many, who knows?
Fulham - of all look weaker
Norwich - solid signings, but nowt wow and a new manager - we should be there or there abouts v them
WBA - rooky manager, but some good signings and good front 4
Villa - not set the world alight with signings - expect us to be there or theres abouts
Swansea - lost some key players and new manager - who knows?
QPR - spent loads and will stay up, but again hardly wow
Wigan - think they will do well this season
The rest should finish above us

right now it looks like lower mid-table, but a couple of good signings would change that.
On what we've got now, I'll say 16th, but I reserve the right to correct my bid on September 1st.
