And last season we had a right footed central midfielder playing at left back, a primary central defender that's not good enough to play centre back in the premiership playing right wing and still didn't posses a natural full back, top management.

What's that got to do with the thread title? If he was that shit you'd have thought he'd have been sacked years ago.

5th longest serving manager in the football league fails to see the benefits of an academy even though he's in it for the long haul, further top management.

Yogi, i dont know why i reply to your comments, but i do, TP got us promoted to the prem, something numerous other managers never achieved not only has he kept us here, but we have not even been in a relegation fight, we have also been to a fa cup final, something we have never achieved, we have a great run in Europe for the first time ever, having not qualified for two generations. Now i have had my say but to you and to jarhead, who are the biggest pair of pratts i have ever come across none of this would mean anything, because you cannot comprehend what the meaning of supporting your football club means, the pair of you are about as much use as a jar of vaseline at a nuns convention.

Wilson has made 63 appearances for us most of which were at left back. He made 35 appearances at Portsmouth where he initially shone at right back before playing some games in central midfield. At what point does he cease being a midfielder and being a left back? When it suits your argument?

I would prefer watching ugly negative cautious football in the prem with all that it brings through the wealth, exposure and classy opposition than watching free flowing football in the championship or 1st division under boskampesque style tactics, yep we have had some belters in my SCFC journey that were in my view were useless at managing in football.......other than Lou of course.
May 1991 – October 1993 Lou Macari November 1993 – September 1994 Joe Jordan September 1994 Asa Hartford Caretaker manager October 1994 – July 1997 Lou Macari July 1997 – January 1998 Chic Bates January 1998 – April 1998 Chris Kamara April 1998 – June 1998 Alan Durban Caretaker manager June 1998 – June 1999 Brian Little July 1999 – November 1999 Gary Megson November 1999 – May 2002 Guðjón Þórðarson May 2002 – October 2002 Steve Cotterill October 2002 – November 2002 Dave Kevan Caretaker manager November 2002 – June 2005 Tony Pulis June 2005 – May 2006 Johan Boskamp June 2006 – present Tony Pulis
Some class acts in that list stolen off wikipedia that were just catostrophic for SCFC.
Don't get me wrong I would prefer to watch classy free flowing football in the prem but if it means survival I will watch what sir tone gives us, there is a fine line with Stoke at the moment as Pulis has always played his brand of football, when we win the discontentment dies down a little even though its the same style but with the three points yet when we fail to get the three points the discontentment grows.....so is the style or the result that people are so vociferous over.
Give me back them good old days where I could watch a game of league footy with a team who knocked the ball around in a flowing manner but won fuck all and a whole block of john smiths seats to myself before the johnny come latelys ruined my comfort.......NOT.
