Some fabulous goals but the best for me was vs villa at first PL home game. The way he flicked the ball and ghosted between two defenders to score from narrowest of angles was pure gold.

Birmingham goal for me, perfect way to score you last ever goal for your club. Shame he can't stay with us

Birmingham goal for me, perfect way to score you last ever goal for your club. Shame he can't stay with us That's my favourite as well. The original 'something from nothing' goal. Had it all, great skill, explosive finish, keeper had no chance. Wasn't his last goal for the club though, he scored at least another three for us.

I don't remember anyone else scoring after such a flick over a defender.

As soon as he scored I wondered if any other Stoke player in the last 30 years could have done that. Only Ric could have got the ball on the halfway line and done that. It typified the way in which, for so long, he has been our only attacking threat.

Seeing him score his 50th at Besiktas was something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
30 + years, following Stoke, home and away and he's my all time favourite.
That goal against Birmingham, with his weaker left foot, was top drawer.

I'll always remember the Villa goal. I was in Portugal and persuaded a barman to put SSN on. I heard there had been a goal at The Britannia and feared the worst, saw Fuller had put us 2-1 up, jumped up, knocked my old mans beer everywhere and went fooking nuts! Barman didnt give a toss, he said 'No worry no worry, your team winning, i happy for you' ;D
If he doesnt sign a new contract I will be genuinly gutted. He has been an absolute hero in my eyes.

The thing about Ric's goals is that the majority of them were belters. Very few tap in's or scrappy goals and quite a few of them were made all by himself. Crying shame he's not been offered a new contract, but thats another thread!

Obviously the Villa goal was brilliant
But west ham away, I'd just had an operation, we only decided to go west ham the day before. Was something special about that goal.
