Did anybody see this? It was all over Twitter, I couldn't believe how brazen it was. The bit with the igloo and the forklift truck on its side, absolutely ridiculous. It's such a horrible culture.

I saw an advert for it mate looked a bit mental to be honest. I'll record the next one even though I don't really like Eskimos.

It's amazing how twitter reaches us these days, never thought I'd see the day I was hitting such random channels in on the Sky box. It was a pretty powerful programme it must be said.

Everybody was moaning on Twitter because it was before the watershed, but in all honesty they shouldn't be allowed to show stuff like that at any time on British television, it encourages viewers to blow things up in the name of Sikhism. It was thinly veiled as an Eskimo sitcom, everybody knew what the forklift and the sea lion represented though... pretty gruesome. They wouldn't get away with doing that here.

There is obviously the complaints division of the BBC or Points of View but not sure if there is a specific body for Eskimoism? Sick, sick fuckers.

I caught the last ten minutes of it and it was extremely blood thirsty to say the least. I didn't even realise that Eskimo's had access to fork lift trucks so that surprised me. The Sikh's didn't come across very well at all though.

I heard a few things about this but not watched it yet. Might wait to see if they decide to make the big budget feature film version of Saathiya. There is a lot of talk about that at the moment.
Not sure it's my sort of thing though with all the hidden messages plus the culture clash and the conflict.

They were on about it at work today - someone said the next episode has been postponed beause of all the controversy? Anyone else heard that?

She gets her tits out in the next one. Downloaded the first three episodes from a torrent site: Full on lesbian scene in episode three before Ghalib walks in and things get nasty. Wont say anything else about it as I don't want to spoil it other than the writers of the show have obviously gone out to cover subjects that are considered controversial or taboo. Not sure whether this adds to the series or not. Thoughts?

I prefer more Cultural experiences of morbidly obese english housewives smoking Woodbines whilst talking to their neighbours over the back entry wall on location in Tunstall circa 1962..
A time of poverty , grime , hard work & innocence. A time when racial issues didn't exist and men used to have a job.
Halcyon times...
;D ;D
