Would have to be Bristol City. Nearest team to me plus went to see games there as a kid with our football coach.

If Stoke never existed? Guess I'd be a Vale fan.
If I had to pick a second team, probably Bolton as my old man supports them. (Needless to say Sunday's going to be interesting).

I suppose that having been born in Leek it would be Leek Town.

If Stoke never existed I suppose it would end up being the Vale.
What a terrifying thought.

I have supported a few, my home town team and first team I played for Nantwich Town, the first team I ever got paid real money for playing ( a crisp £10 note ) Witton Albion, the only team that paid a transfer fee for me Colne Dynamoes(although now defunct) and where I spent most of my playing time and limited coaching role Netherfield Town (now Kendal Town).
My wife and son support wigan and I have watched many games of theirs over the years but I always feel like a fish out of water watching them, My grandad took me to the Vic for the first time as a 9 or 10 year old and my support has never waivered since despite living to far away for years to go to games.
This past 2 seasons since I moved back to cheshire and am now able to go to games have been the best ever for me, I am even starting to moan about tactics and play like a proper fan.

Knutton Village Hall - Those heady days in the early 70's when Ian Moores led the attack.

A couple of years ago had some rather good times watching Alsager Town. And for that matter 30+ years also. So a vote for ATFC from me.

It's grim to think I almost did end up supporting 'em. Thank god for divorce eh?

Southampton. My uncle was the assistant manager there in two spells during 70s/80s and 90s. I used to get complimentary tickets for their games v Manu, Liverpool, etc..
Saints fans are a good bunch - they have a superb rendition of 'When the Saints Come Marching In....' it starts really low and slow, so you can hardly hear it, more of a background hum, and carries on like that for ages rising in a really slow crescendo. It's really effective and works to get everybody singing together.

If QPR didn't exist, I'd follow Plymouth Argyle or Tavistock AFC. Not that I have any connection so to speak. I just like the smaller club atmosphere. Fans are real people and usually very friendly at those two clubs. Unlike somewhere like Manure where you're just a number - same at Spuds, Arse etc.

I think I'd give up watching the game to be honest - don't really watch any matches where Stoke aren't playing unless I'm in the pub and there's one on.
I don't love football, I just love Stoke City.
Maybe therein lies the problem... ;D

If i had too it would be Valencia, because it's hot and i loved that trip.

For no particular reason, have no connection to the place, a totally illogical choice, but it would have to be Pompey.
