And he gets called a top player by his boss, who continually picks him week in week out.
Would he gets in any other team in the Premier League?

2 goals in 27/28 PL games, can't be arsed to count them again
1 of them was a penalty
And NO, he wouldn't get anywhere near any other PL team. No other team plays a striker in the Mama role though

[/quote The answer to that question is...No would he fuck! To be fair you could ask that question about too many of our players and the answer would be exactly the same

Agreed though, he's been absolutely shite but continues to be the first name on the team sheet every time. Two broken legs would probably stop pulis playing him, just.

He was playing in midfield today.
Sure he's been crap for weeks but that's nothing to do with scoring goals....that wasn't meant to be his job. He's not the only player around paid to keep the ball upfield more than to score a goal with it.
The problem now is he doesn't keep the ball upfield anymore either.

when pulis said walters has been superb this season i nearly choked to death, i feel sorry for SJW as he has been hung out to dry....that comment from pulis must have even embarrassed walters.

I said that post from yesterday explaining our team shape should have been pinned.
I can't believe there are still posters who can't fathom the roles of our players.

I think Pulis is in love and want to married with Walters. I have no other explanation.

The press need to ask Pulis what he thinks of the poor form on Jonathan 'Ronald McDonald' Walters. His lack of goals and his mistakes at the back, instead of just skirting around the issue. He'll make an even bigger prick of himself if he just says lets see what the stats say. Someone needs to respond to that with....the stats say he's scored 2 goals in 50 apps

Except who played the withdrawn "Mama/Walters" role today??? Crouch led the line, Fuller and Jerome played out wide. Walters played in more of a central midfielders role today, until he decided he wouldn't really do anything in the latter stages of the game. More points he's cost us.

I doubt it mate, after so many games of hearing "JON.. JON.. JON.. GOOOARRRN JON!" from Pulis, Walters is probably numb to it now

It's simple Pulis goes so will Walters Pulis stays Walters plays take your pick no middle ground as ever with TP goodbye then too many sitters missed from Walters, he's just very poor at the moment, and has been for a long time his defensive qualities are poor as well, cost us so many goals like yesterday when he lost his man, (and nobody on the back post again)
