I driven past that ground a few times and never knew who played there as granada have spent the last few years in the spanish second and third division.

Anybody know why all the granada players kicked off with the ref at the end - i have only been watching on and off - it must have been reals equaliser they were upset with, because the winner was an own goal and looked ok .

one of the subs threw a bottle of energy drink in the refs face -- lucazade will be made up with how much coverage they will get from this.

yeah 2 players sent off at the end of the game for pushing the ref, then a player chucked a bottle at the ref..... plus 2 others booked... 4 mins injury time, dont know where it came from....... they were very unlucky they deserved a point... go to Granada every year, my wife was born there...

Granada is one of my favourite places in spain - we go to salobrena and its usually cheaper to fly to granada than malaga -- our next visit in the football season will be in september i'll try and time my visit with a game.

have you ever walked up that hill - did it once - took me 2 days to recover - my sister has a place in salobrena 50 yards from the beach - we go fishing on Lake Benzar which is midway between Motril and Granada, we always have a day or more there, big gang of english ex pats BBQ few beers then sleep it off in the sun - fantastic day - you would be more than welcome - one of the group is a german bloke who hunts in the mountains all around granada and he always brings a wild boar or wild sheep he has shot.(edit --not as a guest, we BBQ it and eat it ;D)
pm me with a email address if you fancy it.

Unfortunately, Granada are going to be in big trouble after the end of that game Ref had to abandon it 2 minutes before end with virtually all Granada bench and management on the pitch as for the sub who threw the lucozade bottle at the ref!
Shame really they played really well and deserve to stay up

didnt realise it had been abandoned - police had riot shields over the ref and linesmen as they went towards the tunnel.

spitthe dog, the game had finnish, saw the ref blow, it all start about 15/20 secs after the whistle, yes it was wrong whet they did BUT, Madrid should be ashamed with some of the fouls they won, Ronaldo is a disgrace to football, why he does this i will never know....!!!!! Yes, they played well, they have all season, i would like to see them play Stoke, maybe one day......!!!
