A fantastic servant to English football & great success from non-league as a player to the highest level.
If Pearce doesn't stay with the FA set-up (& I would like him to), where will he go next? To manage/coach a club with a football director to assist?

In the press conference yesterday, the FA said he would remain in charge of the U-21 and Olympic team.

Rory in the javelin?
Walters for the Dog-chasing-its-own-tail?
Crouchy in the high jump?

Stuart ' Campbell will give us energy' Pearce.
Says it all about the current state of coaching in the English game. Good player mind.

An ideal candidate for our new Academy I reckon.
Experience, knowledge and a lot of pull with young and upcoming players.

How he became an international coach is beyond me. Having said that England once had Geoff Hurst in a similar role. Talk about jobs for the boys. The trophy cabinet says it all.

Talk about jobs for the boys. He'll fit right in here then Absolutely because we're forever giving ex players token coaching roles. Great point

Pearce makes TP seem like Rinus Michaels. Plan A get stuck in, Plan B scream and get stuck in.
