Last night listening to the Leicester v West Ham game the commentator referred to Marshall a former Man United youth player. True up to a point but no mention of Crewe who developed him or Stoke City that put him in the spotlight.
Why does the BBC overlook facts when it's Stoke City?

Stoke didn't put him in the spotlight. He never bloody played for us.
Sheff Wed put him in the spotlight.

so it's not poor research in the sense that they were actually right?
what did you expect a full Wikipedia length rundown on his life so far?

i thought he was a former Man united youth player? Just have a look on their forums at the pages of 'Marshall scored again' threads and the calls for Fergie's head for letting the world's greatest talent leave on a free
