I don't see the point in sacking Pulis unless we have someone better lined up. Leaving the attrocious Kemp in charge is just a massive no no. Saying that, what has he actually done to deserve being sacked? Ok he has dished up some of the most turgid tripe we have ever seen, but we are safe in the Prem. We could always plod out the West Brazil line 'I'd rather get relegated than play like Stoke'. He deserves to be in charge, I just wish he would grow a pair and go for it more and play players where they should be.
So no.

Yes - He has taken the club as far as he can. Pisser ;D Weren't people saying this in Feb. 2011? Next minute he's taken us to our first ever F.A. Cup final. Back to the question; NO. Ok we did well in the FA Cup, but tactically we are no more advanced than when he took over. How can you deny this?

Yes. At least it'd be interesting.
Also, you can't beat the excitement of a managerial sacking, the news breaking, the rumours of the replacement etc. In fact, we should do it once a year. Even if we just re-appoint the previous fellow.

No. That would be silly. Im intrigued where some of you actually think the club should be going? Pulis already has us punching above our weight. Let's start with passing a football, something that were are still unable to do. So you are unable to suggest where we should be going that is better than what we currently have then.

I can't, but as I've said on another thread, I'm sure that our backward step in style is down to the Europa. If we're still going backwards at the end of next season without the distraction of the Europa, then I'd have to say yes to him going. Surely, after all he's done for us he deserves another season?

I'm saying that despite being the 7th top spenders in the UK we have a group of players with the exception of Pennant and Crouch, who are terrified of the ball being at their feet. We have no plan B whatsoever.

How about being more positive in our approach? How about being less one dimensional and entirely reliant on set pieces? How about trying to recapture the stuff we were playing at the end of last season? How about taking the game to teams?

Dude we live in a cold cold world and football is brutal business like it or not. Pulis is earning big money and isn't doing enough to justify earning more in a week than most do in a year. You get what I'm saying?

Hell no.
See how we do without the distraction and extra effort of games in Europe next season. We haven't become a bad side, more to do with tiredness imo.

Aside from the fact that it's like watching paint dry? Because we've shown we're better than this. We look a better team when we open up a bit and have a go at sides. How many teams cement themselves in the top half of the table by being as one-dimensional and goal-shy as we are? Add more strings to our bow and show a bit more positivity and there's no reason why we can't become a regular top 10 side with a good cup run in us.

You get what I'm saying? For me he's done more than enough to justify living like a king for the rest of his life. He's given me some of the best days of my life, ie. 2 trips to Wembley, and 2 trips to Europe, things I never thought I'd get to do.

He knew we had cup runs and Europa last may, he's a manager, he should have managed it better....if indeed that's the excuse he'll continue to peddle out (he had all summer's transfer window to address the extra games and personnel)

Surprise that nobody has suggested bringing in a decent No 2 to replace Kemp who, imo, is a yes man and probably dunner get any say in team tactics because of this. A strong No 2 with some tactical know-how to stand up to Pulis hoofball might help stop the slippery slide we are currently on. Problem is of course, who, as traditionally No 2's are much the same as Kemp.

Stupid pathetic thread.
3rd fa cup quarter final in a row, European tour Premiership safety (comfortably) Full house every week
How many clubs would take that.
So many ignorant supporters
No way.
