Absolutley Yes. He is a dinosaur, a throwback to the 70s. The game has moved on and he never has,the football is the same as its always been at Bristol Rovers, Plymouth,Gillingham, Bristol City , Bournemouth... not one iota of creativity. We need a younger, more up to date, in tune with todays game, Manager who can drag us into the 21st century.

if it means we get relegated and i get my club back from the demand-instant-success-we-should beat-everyone-every-week mob thats currently ruining this board, p&g and everything else... then yes.
however, realistic and rational response is of course no

No... but im now going to games more through habit than enjoyment. Would be nice to see 3-4 passes strung together like every other football team does. Surely a comfortable mid-table position doesn't have to be at the expense of trying to pass a football once in a while. Something similar to how we were playing at the end of last season would be nice but that seems more & more like a flash in the pan. Pulis has to find a balance between having a decent go at teams whilst being difficult to break down. His banging on about 'the cage' and 'keeping our shape' is leaving us toothless especially away from home. Newcastle away was depressingly predictable & because of this i didnt go & spend near enough £100 to watch it. Is a bit of pace and decent passing too much to ask in our 5th season in the premiership having spent god knows how much?? Probably...I cant see it being too much better next season. We will have abit of trouble attracting attack minded players with our negative play and reputation.

First of all, most of the nogger we've played this season has been shite, and I reckon he deserves criticism for much of it with his square pegs in round holes, blatant favouritism and negativity.
However, the first three seasons in the Prem were the three-year-plan to stabilise us, and we also achieved an FA Cup Final appearance. Mission achieved.
This season has seen us go a long way in Europe and to the 1/4 finals of the FA Cup, and Pulis (rightly in my opinion) blames our low position on too many games played. We look absolutely knackered at times. Mission partly achieved.
So, the proof of the pudding will come next season. We're not in Europe; a cup run is par for the course of being in this division; therefore if we are progressing, we should be looking for far more attractive football and a higher position than that we finish in this season. If he can't provide that and he continues to bore us with his non-football, then I would give him his marching orders.
So, as much as I dislike his tactics and footballing philosophy, and it wouldn't bother me too much if he walked, now is not the time to sack him.
OS.

It's time for another analogy.
Say you've been doing your current job for five years and in each and every one of those five years your work has propelled the company to previously unfathomable heights, thanks to your own ability and suitable backing from the company's owner. In your sixth year at the company, thanks to the high quality work that you've produced, you find that your workload has been quadrupled. The company's owner provides you with plenty of resources, but you find out as you set out that half of your equipment has fallen to pieces and you're not able to get any replacements in. Despite all of this, you complete all your work well on time, but with the presentation slightly reduced, something that your boss has never cared about before.
If your boss then sacked you for the slightly reduced quality of presentation, would you accept your dismissal and decide that you'd deserved it, or would you think that he was an ungrateful turd?

Couldn't have summed it up better. Or WD's post on having credit in the bank. Both exactly how many feel. Club before players. Club before manager.
