OK we were never going to win that one - we carry no goal threat whatsoever - but Newcastle are a class act. They are better than we are in every aspect of the game. They have unearthed several top class performers this season. Don't know how far they have been lucky with their signings but give them credit, we were beaten by a much better team.

From our 5 games to the end of the season, this was the banker for us to lose Newcastle up to 4th, 3 points behind Arsenal 3 points ahead of Spurs & 4 ahead of Chelsea 6 wins on the bounce & going for Champions League The in form team of the division We didn't help ourselves, but we were never going to owt here !! That's a hell of a defeatist attitude on which to go into a match, no matter who is the opposition

Thats probably right but equally we have lost to some shit teams as well as we approach away games badly wrong.

I'm simply saying that if you had to pick 1 of our last 5 games you thought we would lose it would have been this one A win today, was flyin in cloud cuckoo land The flip side is I think we can get something from each of our last 4 games!!!! 2 wins, 2 draws from our last 5 games, with a defeat today is realistic & ambitious, not defeatist

The way we are playing, with little to play for, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get another point this season. Arsenal - too good for us as things stand at the moment; Everton - ditto; QPR - strong at home, we're wank away, plus they need the points; Bolton - desperate for the points, it will be Wigan all over again.

Move on - lets worry about Everton, QPR and Bolton. If we dont take at least 5 points in those games then questions need to be asked. Newcastle are streets ahead of us, and its our own fault for not making decent signings, end - o - story.

Just back already & anyone who thinks we will get 5, 3 or 1 point after today needs to take a check.
The only Stoke that turned up today were high in the rafters singing & making the noise.

I'm not sure what to make of your team today as we were as good as we have been at any time this season at home and I say that having put 3 past Man U. Your fans weren't very loud because you didn't bring many up but they were as good as any set of fans at our ground as they kept going for 90 minutes, well done to them.
Please please pease take points off Arsenal.

The OB were friendly too, and did admit to being caught out with our reduced allocation today. Apparently not expecting Toon fans to be right next to us. Pardew took pity on us with your subs & declared at 3-0

Their was some funny chants in the 2nd half where our timid hopes went from maybe scoring a goal to maybe popping a shot
Ole football with out passes.... ;D
600 miles, £80+ in fuel.....nice pie at half time though ;D

If it wasn't the fact that I am working in the morning, then my sister in Wallsend would have happily accommodated for the night ;D
Done that when we drew 2-2....and it was a good night too

I hope we beat Arsenal but not to help you deluded arrogant fcukwits of fans, only surpassed in my hatred of fans by Man Ure.... Curious - the term "deluded" started with a spiteful Norwich and Man you supporting football journo called Mick Dennis who has a had a laughable history of attacking Newcastle and getting every step wrong. 1/ The fans would desert club in Championship - 45,000 average (Wrong) 2/ Would "do a Leeds" (Wrong) 3/Would go straight back down (Wrong) then, realizing he is in danger of even being seen by the more moronic of rival fans as a dope, embarks on the "deluded" course3. Apparently, Newcastle fans are "deluded" for believing they SHOULD - with their following - be in or near the top 6 (They have NEVER claimed anything more extravagant) - yes, they have said why on Earth are they the ONLY club of this size NOT to win a domestic trophy in 50+ years) yet this makes them deluded ??? Liverpool get smaller crowds, and rant when they "ONLY" get ONE trophy a season. Why aren't THEY "deluded" ? Its a mystery to all but the mentally-challenged who short of the intelligence required to dream up a valid dig at Newcastle USE the deluded stupidity. Still - Stoke fans have a LONG way to go before they are as pig-sh*t thick enough to ONLY use the "deluded" laughability - thats Villa and Everton fan territory......now, we're talking about REALLY deluded knob-ends !

I have never seen a conga being done in an away section by a losing team!!! Your fans were magic at the match despite the mediocre performance. I know my earlier messages came across as if I was a tourist promoter for Newcastle but I hope anyone that stayed up here had a great time. Good support for your team and I hope you enjoyed a decent weekend, despite the footy result. Howay the lads Lazthemag
