All horse racing is boring. If you want to see horses run watch them in the wild if it floats your boat.
Personally I'd pay to see the people who watch it have to race at the end of a whip and climb over the fences until they fainted.

As Henry says, if they make them smaller, they'll run quicker. So there will be more deaths.
The fences need to be increased in height if anything.

Please show me the fox from the national today - i missed it, obviously due to the excitement of such a great race. If enjoying horse racing, the national especially, is condoning animal cruelty. Then i condone it. All the way and then some more, then a lot more after that I also say you know absolutely zilch about it. Also, you need to think about what just would happen to the thousands of horses, foals, brood mares and stallions around the country if horse racing was ever banned. You surely don't think they'd be looked after in a cosy stable until they die of old age do you? Banning horse racing would be condoning animal cruelty because thousands of horses would be shot. Many would be looked after because nearly all are loved dearly, but many more wouldn't unfortunately. |

I find your views completely barmy as well just so you know Up my estimate of thousands of horses would be shot then if horse racing were banned. If thousands are shot every year, then it would obviously be tens of thousands if horse racing were to be banned. You'd condone that to get your way? |
