Manchester City has been fined €30,000 by UEFA for returning to the field late for the second half of a Europa League match against Sporting Lisbon. City returned to the field about a minute late in Lisbon for the first leg of the last 16 in March. It is more than the €20,000 FC Porto was fined after its fans aimed racist abuse at Manchester City players, targeting Balotelli during a Europa League match in February. Manchester City cannot appeal against the fine. UEFA anti-English football again! Two gangs have stole the game that us, the English, gave to everyone. UEFA & FIFA.

I doubt it's got anything to do with any anti-English feeling.
It's just bog standard FIFA fuckwittery.

Porto pay for a fans behaviour - out of their control
Man City pay for their behaviour - within their control
Also, fines should to an extent be relative to the clubs financial stature otherwise the richer clubs won't be deterred.

Surely the real reason is that the TV companies need to get their ad breaks in...money, money, money...that's all they (UEFA / FIFA) care about
