Did anyone spot Huth getting particularly nasty during one 5 minute spell in the first half.
I thought that for the first 15-20 minutes, both Huth and Shawcross struggled against Blake and Fletcher constantly backing in and stopping them challenging for the ball.
One particular incident saw the red midst descend on Huth (I couldn't work out if it was the foul or the bollocking that PUlis seemed to dish out from the touchline) and he spent the next 10 minutes battering anyone who got in his way. He clearly thought "fuck this" and starting throwing his weight around a bit.
The whole spell culminated with a meaty challenge in front of the Seddon Stand followed by a Dion Dublin style (neck breaking) butt on Kightly.
Huth had lost it for a bit there but after that, him and Ryan were excellent.

Huth does stuff like that with great aplomb.
His butt/charge on Kightly was perfection.

Do the crowd also love it when he is sent off? You say that like he's had an horrendous disciplinary record for us. He hasn't though.

He should have taken kightly's head off while a few players distracted the officials. I wouldn't mess with him ;D.

would love to see a T shirt along the lines of....
You have just been Huthed!
A picture of an opponent lying in agony, along the lines of the 80's ICF business card.

Do the crowd also love it when he is sent off? One red card in 8 years. And that red card was a disgraceful decision.

One red in 8 years is a pretty good record for such a committed tackler, although didn't he also get a retrospective red card/ban for clouting Upson a few seasons ago?

The first 20 mins or so a number of our defenders seem to be going for the same ball, geting in each others way and losing some composure. They did settle, retaining a good shape for most of the game in my opinion. From then on both Huth and Shawcross were an excellent partnership Shotton played a far more mature game for me yesterday and fits in with our defence quite well.

Huth is the defensive equivalent of Animal off the Muppets.
Everyone loves him, despite being quite obviously hard as nails and quite mad!

Was anyone happy with Wilson yesterday? He was motm for me. all of us see the game differently, I wouldn't let a few shimmies or dummies disguise the real performance, his support for Ethers was non existent yet again. For me Johnny Walters was alot sharper and more involved despite his sitter which goes to show how opinions differ as he is getting slaughtered on here! Wilson for me is no left back.

Though some of his headers at the back post were vital. I agree about supporting his winger but often when Wilson has the ball, ethers is nowhere either. He needs to be out wide, not in field between 3 players!

Credit to Kightly. Most players would have been floored by Huth's challenge on him, but he barely flinched.
Huth's disciplinary record is amazing when you think of the stuff we've seen him do, like when he put Piquionne out of the game in the FA Cup quarter final last season.
Piquionne was on the goal-line putting the ball in the back of the net as Huth twatted him up in the air. There was no one else around and you could hardly say the ref couldn't have seen it, yet somehow he got clean away with it.
The comedy moment of the Wolves match was when him and Ebanks-Blake got involved in a wrestling match and Huth just threw him to the ground.

Huth is a beast and his temper tantrum turned the game back in our favour as it seemed to get everyone going again.
As for Wilson, he had his best game for some time yesterday. 3 great defensive headers, a super ball into Etherington (which he wasted) and a peach of a cross as well.
He wasn't without fault, but he defended well and had Kightly in his pocket. Wilson had a much better game than he has of late.
