Frozen out with a goal ratio of 1 in 3.5 games this season from starts.
While Super Shitty Walters gets game after game, with his 1 in 16 goal ratio from starts.
Surely PC must have questions what want answering?

Trouble is he wouldnt make a slight bit of difference if he did play. Truth is we don't create chances anyway so he would look just as shit as anyone else up front for us,bar Crouch now and then.

Milton Walters is 1 in 15 in open play jones was cast aside when dropped at home to fulham as top scorer . I couldnt agree more he has been poorly treated set up to fail at valencia, Utd, City and Chelsea away. He is younger than crouch , more prolific than walters who isn't and has real premier league pedigree still good teams want him and he will get over it but he is terrible example to future targets as merit clearly isn't the reason fir selection

Surely there are games where the pace and power of a Jones Jerome/fuller combination would be useful in the starting line up.

looked lasty season as though he could improve and be a real threat but not given a chance when Crouch was bought which despite his wonder goal wasnt what we needed

Some posters amaze me at times. At the start of the season (-crouch) it was universally stated by a lot if people on here that Jones was either a) shit, b) useless with his feet c) lazy, or all three! Now loads want him in the team! You can't win with some people. Some were saying how shit Crouch was just before THAT goal, now he's suddenly left alone. Walters plays a lot because he plays the role TP asks him too, and yes his goal scoring record is toss but he does spend most of the game miles away from his strike partner defending!!! I'm sure if he didn't do as he was asked he wouldn't be in the team all the time!

To be clear I never said jones was shit .walters yes . On jones I said we didn't need crouch and still believe it we have £18 million of centre forwards and the manger is of the view only 50% of that investment can play at any one time we would have been much better spending the £10 million on a Walters upgrade as it's that role that we have come up woefully short in 31 games and 2 goals in Open play from a forward shirt is a way to the bottom three .

To be honest no striker would score more than 15 odd a season with the way we play!

Kenwyne would never fit in at Stoke, and whilst we're about it, neither will Hugo Rodallega, Joey Barton or Emile Heskey! Not that Tone will take the blindest bit of notice.....but it's there

Not that Tone will take the blindest bit of notice.....but it's there I agree, he will never take any notice...and he doesnt want to waste the coates' family money...so why buy players he doest trust, who arn't good enough - or play them out of position. sometimes i really do dispair at some decisions.

You can't play Jones & Crouch together, hence no effort, movement etc.
Walters is getting a lot of stick, but... he is good enough, proved last season. He keeps getting played out of position, and his job is to run around and cause problems leaving Crouch as the 'goal scorer'
Jones? No effort, not a great team player and on big wages. Hopefully we can get £5m plus end of season.

Poor old millionaire KJ.
Pulis knew KJ wasn't a work horse, dont really understand why he singed him. With the lack of creativity in our team there isn't as stiker in the league who would give us a 15-20 goal return, unfortunetely
