Steamed swan makes a great accompaniment to my badger kebabs.

Apparently swans are being killed for food by eastern Europeans. I hope this can be stamped out quickly.

I read about this in a book on medieval food and pastimes. From what I remember, they don't taste that good.

If it's ok for them [Eastern Europeans] I might just take on for myself. Make a change from the usual Sunday roast and they are so stupid just hold a chunk of bread out and choppetty chop and the garden shears do their job ;D

surely they must be related to the other birds i.e. turkey? so i am expecting them to taste similar, only thing is if you kill one you could get in trouble with her maj i bet they have one every sunday for dinner thats why they are protected she doesnt want the plebs taking her stock

They are a 'protected species' and carry the death penalty Anyone caught killing them can be tried for treason and executed by firing squad Think about that the next time you're eating one

Ask any miners who lived near Parkhall Lake during the strike. They could also give you advice about a range of birds, Mallards, Moscovitch, moor hens.....!

Although they are protected...I suppose you might come across some roadkill, in which case I have thought it depends on how you cook them ? what does Delia recommend ? I tend to burn most things so I'm guessing mine would taste like most things I cook ....

Do swans taste nice????
Ask our Polish friends.
While your at it ask them if the carp is good, the bream is good, the duck is good, the pike is good, the crayfish is good, the roach is good.....
Then ask them why when my son went into one of the ever growing Polish shops for a can of pop, he was told to get out because "You are not Polish"....
Makes my bastard blood boil it does, cheeky cunts...
I'll leave it that before a say something i should'nt(comes to something when you cant stand up for your own) and get banned.....
OOOOOHHHHH i'm fucking livid.
