Went to a sportsman evening Friday where Conroy, Greenhoff, Smith and Pejic were talking. Great night and if ever you get a chance to see these greats don't miss it. Jimmy Greenhoff said that Pulis treats all the ex players with much more respect than any previous manager and all the others agreed. Nice to hear that and for me another feather in his cap.

Sad thing is Jimmy wouldnt have got anywhere near a Pulis side.. far too creative, Hudson and Greenhoff would be playing for the reserves with the other kiddies, while Mama and Whitehead would be playing first team week in week out. H

Such a positive thread and yet the usual just have to post negativity on it. Maybe you could make up a few more quotes from the either the Coates or Pulis family to create a bit more positivity then Taz? H

Even TP wouldn't ignore the God like talents of Greenhoff and Hudson.

I went and the admiration all 4 had for TP, PC and SCFC was gushinglingly eye watering,,,
for all of so pretentious as to come on here and say he wouldn't have played him or her or it.. the 4 know more about the ins and outs of footy than any of us and what they said was articulate, honest, funny and damn right interesting Smithy spoke with tears in his eyes..thats his love for the city and club Pej spoke with honesty....and he would fit WILLINGLY straight into a TP side Terry C, as funny as every knows the drill and answered every question with his Irish wit.. and then there is Sir Jimmy..... he revelled in the stories, told it as it was and he saw it, and most of all, understood the modern game and the changes that go with it..a true artiste and one who supports the clubs history, PRESENT and FUTURE
Truly monumental night followed by the little thing of an all dayer and the teatime Man City game and that goal..
Ow shit do you think my weekend was?????????? :-))))))
