Do you think we should keep Mama and Ric on board for next season. In my opinion we should not have Mama in the 25 but let him train with us until he can find a club or whatever. As for Ric, I like him but 1) he is past his sell-by date and 2) he can be rather petulent and this could affect squad morale. So, do you think we should get rid or keep them?

I think Fuller could offer us a lot for one more year. And, at 33 in October, you can't see his demands being excessive. But it seems clear he almost certainly won't be getting a new deal for whatever reason.
As for Mama, it's quite encouraging that we haven't heard anything about new playing deals for either him or Diao. It really would be a sentimental nonsense if we offered them anything.
As much as we all love Mama, the guy's a millionaire and we aren't a charity.

I'd offer Ric another year and wish Mama the best in his future endeavours. Ric's clearly going though as he's apparently on big wages and not in the manager's plans.

I honestly think that the best route for Mama is retirement now. Know when to call it a day. The first injury completely took it out of him, so goodness only knows what this latest one will have done to him.
It would be very fitting if he announced his retirement before the end of the season, got brought on for the final 10 seconds against Bolton and got the hero's send off that he so richly deserves. Obviously if he's still having trouble with his injury then I'd offer to rehabilitate him - as we have done with other former players - but not on a playing contract.
If we're hell bent on selling Fuller, who I still think has something to offer, I hope we do the same thing in the Bolton game.

Looking at the original post there's no way Ric's past it. He still looks more of a threat than the rest of our strikers when hes on the pitch.
I'd keep Mama n all. Absolute legend.

He won't be on any wages when his contract is up. I suppose he'll look around and see what's on offer. If he can't get what he's hoping for elsewhere and he's settled in the area it could happen on better terms for us i suppose. It'll be a very sad day if he pulls on another team's shirt.

Both gone as of next season shame but no room for sentiment, Ric his best days a far behind him his sending off was a sign of frustration at his lack of playing time and form he seems to have lost a yard or two of pace, Mama his terrible injuries have all but ended his playing days with us. However who knows what TP thinks !

Sidibe should have been booted out when we got promoted 4 years ago ....Chronic.
Fuller....Was a very good player , but sadly no where near good enough for the Premiership.
Delap...The same
Woodgate...The Same
Diao ...The same.

Ricardo will stay only if he is prepared to accept a new contract on half the money (20k instead of 40k) and a regular spot on the bench at best. I am not sure his massive ego will allow either.
Mama must be let go - either to play again if he gets fit (and we should help him as best we can if that is what he wishes to do) or to retire (we should allow him 5 mins at the end of the campaign for a suitable round of applause as a send off).

Delap...The same Woodgate...The Same Diao ...The same. Based on what we've seen this season, there's not really anything like enough evidence to write Fuller off like that.
