£40 !!!!!!! No wonder they're nicknamed the villians-the dirty robbing Brummy bastards Indeed, in that shitty away enclosure they should be ashamed to charge more than 20 quid. Once again we get ripped off.

I've got a freebie for this one! Yippee!
Football, generally, is just too bloody expensive these days and it is becoming increasingly difficult for anyone to really justify being a 100% attender of away games during the course of a season.
As I have said before, I will keep going because I love it and I love the craic with my mates, but I will be missing the ridiculous priced games such as Manure, Chelski, QPR etc going forward.
£ 35 is now my limit for away ticket prices. Anything higher than that and I won't be attending such league fixtures.

It's very much beginning to look that way for me as well, Dave.
On average you don't get much change out of 80 quid for an away day and often they bust the 100 mark now.
I think we are starting to opt out of a few and it's crap.
I hate not being there and feel guilty when I'm not.
Stupid, I know!

Feel exactly the same Jamo and I'm sure that there are many others that feel like that too.
Imagine having kids and wanting to take them along to the game with you. It would be nigh on impossible for most families.

Any clue how much QPR will be? Thinking of going to that game, but not at anything like £40!

The price of attending games is slowly now becoming out of the reach of most fans. The desire to go is still there as demonstrated yesterday, decent ticket price and fans will still travel.I have 2 sons and now pick and choose my away games, based totally on the cost.Renewed our season tickets but the cost of away games can no longer be justifed to my wife.

40 fucking notes!!??
I can understand why Villa Park has had 10,000 empty seats for the last few seasons. Almost feel bad for their fans... almost.

Clubs really are pricing the ordinary fan out of the game and Villa should be charged the same at our ground next season.

Wrong to be so expensive I know, but as it is, it would suit most I think if you could add an away season ticket to your home one. Opt for installments and spread the cost. Not sure if it would/could work, but it may help with cost for those wanting to go to most

QPR is alledgedly £50+ in answer to the question posed above!
Jamo - Good luck taking your lad to games with you. I don't envy any father who wants to take his lad to all away games in the current climate.
Largely shit football = lad gets bored easily + mega expensive on top. Could it get any worse for a dad and his football loving son?

QPR is alledgedly £50+ in answer to the question posed above! I think Tony Fernandes came in and reduced the ticket prices didn't he? According to the football ground guide website, it's 50 quid for Category A games, 40 quid for Category B games, and 30 quid for Category C games in the upper wings & lower tier, and 5 quid more in the School End. Hopefully we'll be Category C prices!

Worst away end in the Prem as well no beer.
£40 for that hole. We should charge them the same next year.
I'm sure it was only £30 odd last year.

I feel sorry for families paying these prices now. I'm lucky when I took my lad, we were in the lower divisions it was'nt has expensive and now he is old enough to pay his own way.

Im going this as Im under 21 so its £28 for me, but I still hope we sell the majority! Even though I do agree that the prices are extortionate for a game of football, and lets be honest, Villa are nothing special!

On the Vile website they have offers on for other parts of the ground ............... but seats in the same stand but up near the Holte end (so the same as ours) are priced at £45-00
So .................. Not really robbing us except its too expensive in the first place
All together now "OH YOU DIRTY VILE BASTARDS DIRTY VILE BASTARDS WE HATE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "
