Some disgraceful behavior from the policeman at the far left of the bottom of the anfield road end right by the Liverpool fans. There was a complete moron in the Liverpool end directly across giving it the big'un (with a grey top on) and just generally abusing and inciting Stoke fans at every opportunity. In this area a few fans had already been kicked out over seemingly nothing and people had been warned about their retaliation to this utter cretin. The policeman was doing literally everything he could possibly do to not look at the moron and came over to Stoke fans complaining about him and saying that he was not concerned with him but merely the Stoke fans. A group of four (three blokes and what appeared to be one of their wives) complained about this grossly unfair treatment, and the policeman got incredibly aggressive and was being unnecessarily hands on and just generally dealing with the situation badly, he proceeded to call in back up and had them all kicked out... Complete and utter joke, I can only assume this is beyond Scholes's powers? Anyone else sitting around there?

To be fair to them, Merseyside Police aren't usually the world's biggest dickheads.

Guy in grey was a cock, and if anyone even looked over to him the police were on you straight away... whilst he continued.

Yeah the young lad looked completely baffled, he was on my row and I was right by the stewards.

This was right in front of us. The Liverpool fan in question was a complete dick and the police and stewards should have had a word with him. However, if you are going to complain to a policeman it's probably best not to get aggressive and start swearing as you're just giving him a reason to throw you out. I'm not saying I agree with the actions of the police but it doesn't take much to cross the line with them.
After the final whistle we saw a young lad in tears and his dad was pointing some Liverpool fans out to the stewards. Presumably they'd done something to upset this kid but the stewards weren't interested and one was doing his best not to laugh. Anyone know what that was about?

I was standing right there mate asking to put a complaint in, the steward in question was writing something down just because he had to, nothing was going to be done, you could just tell. Yeah the young lad and his Dad, the young lad did look pretty upset. I didn't hear exactly what was said by the group although they were directly behind me, I wouldn't say they were being aggressive, they were just very passionate about how unfair the scenario was.
