Just watched the semi vs bolton on youtube. The bolton end of wembley probably only 2/3rds full. They deserved to get hammered for that alone imo. That was our cup final.

That's what a patronizing Man City fan said to me after the game. No it wasn't. It was a great semi. And we lost the final

10 months on, that Cup Final defeat is starting to ranckle.
Come on Stoke, we don't want another 40 years of telling our kids and grandkids about when we nearly won the cup.

The FA Cup.... never has such an occassion kindled such a huge swell of differing emotions.
Last year I felt immense pride, excitement, joy, exhilaration, anticipation, fear and desperation.... it hurt to lose, but I was so proud that we got the chance to play in the final. Could we do it again, yes, we have every chance!!
The twelfth man has got a big task tomorrow, probably as much as our team... we are as essential to the success of the team as the players and coaching staff themselves. It is the actions performed by our fans during the game — our ritual chants, beloved songs, banner waving, our very colours.... our very presence.
We must motivate our team like never before, intimidate the opposition and perhaps even influence the referees' decisions. We must truly believe that our loyal fans at Anfield will help us achieve our ultimate objective, not just to observe the event.
Come on lads.... just doo eeeett!!
