Recent Chelsea changes have now really placed Steve under the spotlight and I hope it works out for him.

Steve is probably the one man we really - and I mean really - miss in times of potential self-sufficiency plans. The man is an absolute legend of behind the scenes football and many, many players owe their careers to this man.
Was he still here, I have no doubt that certain young players who have been cut loose would still be at the club and the standard of youth player we would of started to produce about now would probably of been up there with the best in the country.
I don't know about any potential managerial plans he may have but moving up at Chelsea can only have a positive effect from a coach perspective.

I agree I think he's an excellent coach who could have done wonders for us however I think regardless of the standard youth player you still need a manager who is willing to take a gamble on playing them before they are 25.

Both spot on with the observations in my humble opinion and where he will go after Chelsea (if as AVB's assistant manager he's forced out) needs to be watched carefully. I think a club like Liverpool or Spurs maybe.

I hope they sack him!
That way he can come back here, be TP's assistant and still work with the younger players.

Spurs were after him along time ago. Would love to see him back here though,

How many managers have been at Chelsea since Holland joined? 3? 4?
