I am thinking about moving from the south stand to the family stand and wondered if anyone knew if this was possable during early bird sales or would we have to renew our SS tickets then try to move when they go back on general sale.

I'm looking to move from family to seddon and was told I had to wait for early bird to end and then would have first choice of remaining seats.
The ticket office didn't know what price I would have to pay, but thought it would be full price.
Have been promised a definite answer this week.

I think you have to firstly renew. If not you'll lose your seats. They then take it from tgere at end of early birds.
I've tried to change and add seats but they've been a bit clueless when i've asked about how to do it.

last season there was a window of one whole day where you can seat swap. Seat swap day is between early bird and general.
purchase your tickets as normal
then on seat swap day, you can move to any part of there ground where tickets haven't been renewed.
If you are moving to a more expensive part of the ground you pay the price difference of the early bird prices
figures not accurate
current boothen 349 early bird current grandad stand 459 early bird
so if you moved from the boothen you'd pay the difference £100
if you moved to the boothen they will reimburse £100

You can of course buy any currently empty seat anywhere in the ground then not renew your current seat
Problem you might have in the family stand is that it is pretty full. Seats do become available in that area when families become too old to stay in that stand - then you wait for transfer day

Ive spotted the seats i want and they have been empty for the last 2 weeks As Wisemaster says ... if they're available then just get them and don't renew your own - moving seats is irrelevant. The only reason to 'move' seats, is because you think you might get a better choice once the early bird period is over and you wanted to take advantage of that pricing. If you're dead set on sitting in the family stand next season, why don't you just buy the best seats you can find in there now and then see if anything better becomes available once the early bird offer has fnished?

During this 1 day window, where we can seat move, can we actually specify a seat number, or is it just a stand and block number that we specify.
I like a bit of leg room, so like to be on an end seat.

I’m pretty sure you can seat swap into a non ST seat at any time but you have to wait until a later date to see if anyone hasn’t renewed to take their seats as the club will hold your seat for a while. Hope this makes sense. Gouranga.

Cheers all. Will ring the TO tomorrow to double check. Ive spotted the seats i want and they have been empty for the last 2 weeks Last season I had to renew my existing 2 in the family stand and 1 on its own for my daughter a few rows back. Then on swap day moved to 3 seating together. You have buy in early bird period to get cheap rates though and there's no guarantee that you'll get required group of seats together on swap day. which if kids are young isn't ideal.

My lad turned 17 this season so over family stand age. They still renewed our seats in the family stand initially then told us to change seats during the seat swap days.
