I'm off to Liverpool passport office on tuesday, got a same day application appointment... Has anybody who's had to go there before got any practical advice i.e waiting times, what ID you took and what they actually asked you for, Also as i'm paying for a premium service i presume if i have made a fuck up on my application they can put it right (not that i think i have).
muchos appreciated.

Takes 10 mins at your appointment time , I took previous passport and driving licence. You then return 4 hours later to collect it ! Mistakes are no problem as long as its done as detailed in the book . I did mine/ 4 of them 4 weeks ago .

Aah, Liverpool passport office I had to go to renew the kids' passports about 6 years ago cus they didn't have 6 months clearance on them. If Heineken did government offices this is the one - serious service with a smile and efficient as they come. Even the guy scanning for weapons was chatting and laughing with the punters and at the counter much of the same Not a bad place to waste 4 hours either, enjoy ;D

I took my Nephew for the same reason. I suggest you put your application in and then go down to the Keyside and go in the Maritime Museum or the Beatles Centre as they are next door to each other. A good way of spending time as you wait.
