I'm sick of boring football, negative tactics, square pegs in round holes, the traffic round the brit, the wind and the corners not being filled in.
Yes I'll be renewing as always and getting behind the team and team and the manager.

I'll be in the same seat I have been since 1999 again.
We started in block 25, tried out block 24, but eventually found my home in Block 20, row 22!
Been sad over recent years that some of the folk that sat around us through many years of shite football in the lower leagues have disappeared through cost etc (difficult times for many people), but we still have most of the same faces sitting with us!

Fantastic move by the club.
I was expecting them to increase the cost this year so this is great news.
Well done to all involved.

Its extra brilliant news really. As touched upon they had so many reasons to increase them but haven't and lets face it, it's likely Mr Coates will dip into his pocket again and increase the running cost of the club i.e. wages, new transfers etc, so not to pass this onto fans is outstanding...I will be there!

Can anyone remember from last year, how long do we have to secure our existing seats? Is it the Early Bird period or beyond?

Can anyone remember from last year, how long do we have to secure our existing seats? Is it the Early Bird period or beyond? I think it is the early bird date - then they pause then give new season ticket holders the chance to move to seats not taken up by old season ticket holders

Well done Stoke.
It is the right decision. I think prices are at their max to maintain and build upon the levels of support.
Some people would not be able to renew if the price went up for financial reasons.
The sticky patch we are going through may have disuaded the less committed with a price increase....and it may still unless we turn things round quickly....
With hindsight, the Valencia home game could have easily been a 28000 sell out. Away fans in the top tier of the main stand and less than Category B prices for the rest of the ground; with the South Stand full of home fans.
People get used to a certain level of price....£15 for the Europa group games suddenly became £35 in the main stand for the Valencia game and whilst the attendance was up slightly on the previous games, the occasion deserved a full house.
The same principle of people getting used to price levels applies in the league and other cup matches too....especially in with poor economic conditions and high prices to start with.

Unfortunalty i wont be with the amount ive had to work away ive had to miss around 17 games the past 2 seasons, so tbh it really isnt worth me getting a season ticket anymore

In all seriousness, this is absolutely brilliant news for supporters. In these tight financial times it's what most fans will have been praying for.
If I can envisage only one small possible side effect, it's that it may just impact on our transfer budget for next season? Hopefully that won't be the case.

Well done Stoke very good news and when you consider Derby County are putting their tickets up 10% across the board you have to say Mr Coates and others deserve enormous credit again.
