He's really impressed me over the last few games. He's really stepped up to the plate after being left out and deserves his chance. We look a far better side with him in it. He's got pace is fit and looks hungry.

He's been excellent all season and deserves more of a chance, but I fully expect it to be Crouch and Walters up top for the rest of the season unless one of them gets injured.

I thought he was fantastic last night.
His work rate was off the chart and I don't know whether to applaud him more for his offensive stuff or for his tracking back.
In the right system he could be killer for us.

He looks hungry and eager to impress, has bags of pace, works hard closing opponents down and appears to be pretty strong too, just occaisionally he tries to do too much on his own when he has the ball and concedes possession.

Whilst he's not prolific, he'd likely score more over a season than Walters and brings more pace to his game. At the very least Pulis needs to give him more opportunities.

I think you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who would disagree against Jerome deserving to start and the fact we look better when he does.... Oh wait I don't think that Pulis bloke would agree and doesn't he have something to do with team selection and tactics?

He works as hard as Walters
but with more intelligence, apart from the odd rash challenge.
He has definitely got better technique, can cross a ball better and has more goals in him.

He must play up front though as I feel his vision isn't good enough to play out wide! Always hungry to run for the through ball, and really has pace to burn! Jerome in the first 11 for me too! ;D

Tony made the point last time out of how superb Walters was as he set his stall out to crush any hope of meritocracy concerning the golden boy jerome has no chance
Nor does jones dropped as top scorer v fulham at home and again no chance of a run before the end of the season unless crouch is injured .

I agree but I don't think he can play with Crouch a Jerome and Walters partnership would be a decent pairing

I think he's a class player, works hard and manages to get into space ...as opposed to sticking with or hiding behind whoever Is marking him ....an intelligent player who is a real credit to stoke city !! ..should be in the starting eleven everytime for me !!

Our best striker, with impressive work rate. He's a warrior. I want him in the starting eleven.

Our best striker, with impressive work rate. He's a warrior. I want him in the starting eleven. Think he will be Sunday. Up front with Crouchy Walters on the right wing, Whelan + Whitehd in centre, Pennant on left. I think even Tone can see that at the moment Jerome is up for it.

He could have netted a hat-trick against Valenica and Pulis would still leave him on the bench.
Jerome has looked quality whenever i've seen him this season, how much did we pay for him? £3 million? If so and he establishes himself, he could be more of a bargain than Walters.

Thought he was brill against valencia, fast getting forward aswell as getting back to cover which i saw him do more than once. TP needs to give him the credit he deserves by starting him tommorrow, will only get better with games.

What makes me laugh is the amount of Birmingham fans that don't rate him and found it hilarious that we signed him. The lad is a quality player.
