Jones is really out of favour at the moment isn't he?
I'd have gone with KJ and Ric, but I'm pleased CJ and Crouch have a chance to form a partnership at least because I'd probably give that a go in the league at the moment.
Danny Collins is probably a better option than Upson at LB. Which is saying something.

As I ve said
No concern about number of games from the manager otherwise Walters wouldn't play
We are going out in front of the nation
Their is ready to jump publicly on the carcass
But rest assured as we and the maanger find our real level thdi year therre is lot worse to come season than losing today

Maybe in reality it will be a grim 4-5-1 with absolutely no width. I do hope Pulis is considering 4-3-3 as an way to upturn our recent fortunes. Still have no idea why Walters and Delap are on the park. That aside i'm fairly happy.

Again, not buying a winger was fucking stupid, as was letting Higgy go out on loan.

Collins at left back who was last season in George Berrys Afro. Accomadating Walters for the fucking sake of it I presume Left midfield. Delap right midfield? Woeful side

For all that though, that team should still be more than good enough to win today, if everyone does their job properly.

Positives are that Shawcross and Whitehead are fit enough to start - both in doubt at some point I believe and that Wilkinson and Wilson are fit enough for the bench. Ideal game to drop Walters to the bench - unless hes not in the starting 11 v Valencia??? I'm surprised that Woodgate is missing does this mean he may feature on THURSDAY?
Deep breath just hope we make a good start

And if Fuller's not starting today, in a game like thhis, presumably we've seen his last start for the club? Very sad.

Jones should have left the day he was dropped against fulham as top scorer iT became Tonys team of mates that day , and the decline which is now spiralling started that day
Nobody but nobody can surely defend the decision to play Walters our only chance of him not starting in our cup final next Sunday is if he is injured , truly truly unbelievable , and the daft twat can shut up about 12.oo o'clock Sunday thursday now because he obviously thinks it doesn't effect Walters .
Sits back and awaits humiliation which one of us thoroughly deserves

We are absolutely crying out for a young winger and a young full back. Our squad is just so fucking old and lacking in creativity. I was watching our 2008/09 dvd last night, and we looked so much more exciting and had that element of unpredictability. Lawrence and Fuller were just incredible for us. I'm sure we have gone backwards. The worst thing Coates ever did was give Pulis £20 million last summer. TP is far better when he is forced to unearth gems from lower end premier league teams, or even championship teams.

its obvious why delap is playing? his long throws against a low league defence? if we dont score from a throw in today he has GOT TO GO!
