Is it time for begovic to come back into the team?
Tommy hasn't looked convincing since he came back in.
I didn't think Asmir should have been dropped in the first place.

I think that there will be some rotation with the cup games coming up. I will be surprised if there is no change made for the next 3 games

The goalkeeper position is the least of our problems, however Begovic is the better keeper.

Depends on his Euro performance and that will give us the clue.

Begovic for Valencia. Tommy for Crawley. Tommy for Valencia. Begovic for Norwich. Begovic for the foreseeable.

Tommy has made mistakes leading to goals that have cost points in the past few games. WBA and today are 2 examples where they should never have scored from.
If Pulis is consistent then surely Asmir should be back in soon.

I suppose Tommy can be dropped now he has signed the new contract.
We are lucky to have 2 great keepers.

neither of todays goals were sorensens fault! maybe if we defended the first goal better and a fluke goal from an american. the whole team needs sorting! no1 looks comfortable

be interesting to see their second goal on the TV.
I thought he should have saved it whilst at the game but generally, I prefer Tommy to Begovic.

On what basis? Letting a Bala through his legs v west brazil or today's genius attempt of a save? The blokes a tit and I'd love see anyone with a brainy tell me otherwise! Today was disgraceful

He should have saved the second with his Danish nob! Why try dive and make a save instead of standing up and just tip the ball over! What a twat he made of himself today

Poor effort at the 2nd one today, has to lose his place like Bego did!

There's no point have two decent goal keepers if you don't have genuine competition for places. Tommy did well for us when he first came back in but recently he's made a few mistakes. Idiots like Clyde would do well to recall how well Tommy has done for us the last 3 and half years.

Neither keepers have been playing great shakes but maybe part of the problem has been the constantly changing back four.
As a consequence of the continual changes & square peg syndrome the back four are failing to play as a cohesive unit. The understanding & trust in each other has evaporated & we look ripe for easy pickings! ???

Upson didn't help with the first goal either. He was about 5 yards behind the rest of the defence... playing 3 players onside. Like you say, probably a consequence of changing the back four but if we had Huth today we would have looked much more solid.

Is it just me that was a bit bemused at his attempt at the first? Shouldn't you stand up for as long as possible and make your self big? He was lying down when the ball went into the top corner!?!?
Bring back bego, the brightest prospect we have by a long long way!!

Bring back bego, the brightest prospect we have by a long long way!! I was more bemused at his attempted clearance at the end when their player hit the post. I prefer bego but can't say sorro deserves to be dropped, he still makes some good saves.

I just think that he has cost is quite a few goals recently and has looked dodgy in games. Blackburn away is a prime example.
Begovic only made one real mistake (Bolton away) and was dropped. I no some will say that he should have done better with some goals that he conceeded.
But overall Begovic is the better keeper in my opinion. He should be playing every week to improve further. Not good for his confidence if he's dropped after doing relatively little wrong.

Second goal was unlucky for Sorro. Slightly more finger tips and it was over. The odds of it hitting him on the way back were slim but we all know by now that this league is merciless and once the 'bad luck' comes your way you have to dig deep to push through it. If you look at the first goal, there was a Fulham player in an offside position. At least one of our defenders (Upson?) was standing with his hand in the air instead of closing down three unmarked opponents in the box.

Sorro is the best keeper and how he can be blamed for the West Brom goals is laughable.

The understanding & trust in each other has evaporated & we look ripe for easy pickings! ??? Well said. We have 2 international goalkeepers competing for places in the starting line ups. Both have had disappointing moments but have also kept us in the game when badly let down by the defence. The change in personnel is always going to cause some indecision. No easy answer here as we have players who bring different positive aspects to the side but are very different. We almost need 2 teams???

Yes I agree. Tommo should have pushed that Dempsey shot over the bar. Having said that we are not scoring goals.
