Woodgate in the middle is just about palatable. It keeping him away from right back being its biggest plus point.

If we get rid of Upson, we are only one injury or suspension from being in deep shit at the back over the next three games.
Given how shit Collins is, we are surprisingly light at the back.

With Huth and Woodgate removed from his potential right-back playbook, I'm looking forward to at least 3 games of Wilko and Pennant now, without genuine fear of being pissed off when the team's announced at 2 o'clock.

Given how Upson has been frozen out lately I can't see it being him.
At present (and given the weather) tomorrow looks like a bloody long day out what with leaving on the 8am rattler!

Upson for me. Not sure why Woodgate has been so favoured in place of Upson - who would do no worse at right back IMO.

Reads like an instruction manual for a Hitachi hi-fi system. 'Battery to insert be operate button system control'

Woodgate, as he must be more match fit because of all the games he has got! ;D

Woodgate without a doubt.

I would prefer Upson but ain't seen that much of him. He's probably not match fit anyway.
Different question - Collins at CB or Woodgate??

I thought Woodgate did ok at CB in his first few games. Against Chelski he was excellent, or am I just imagining things?

We've all slatered Woodgate but lets remember he was playing out of position. Lets also remember that Huth was not looking world class when he was playing at left and right back but now he's back in the middle he should be the first name on the team sheet.
Lets hope if picked Woody shows his former class in the middle.
