I'll be giving this one a go, although I thought the atmosphere was nothing short of dire last year.
In fairness I suppose it wasn't helped by the paucity of our performance on the field and the fact that it was probably the coldest day of my life.

we're going in the away end this year, the neutral section was one of the worst experiences i've ever had at a football match

I might make sure we get there early enough to check out the seats we've paid for and shift over to where the Stokies are.

Don't swear, you are likely to get told off by American tourists

I loved everything about the day apart from the game last year, the pubs, area, the stadium. The atmosphere and neutral stand was a weird experience but a good day nontheless.

the neutral area is vile, an utterly surreal football experience. Our lot got in an argument with some blokes from an American University who simply wound Stoke fans up from the first minute.
Seriously, if my mates and me weren't lovers (not like that!) but fighters, there would have ben mayhem. Never going in there again - prefer watch it in a pub.

Me and the lad will be there despite all my instincts telling me to save £70/80 and watch it on FSS. With the easterly wind whipping in off the Thames I might do something I've never done before at a football match - flask and a rug... Roll on the end of winter - I fooking hate it...
