Don't blame him the way he has been treated. Not the best manager by any stretch but the FA are just a bunch of corrupt wankers. Would the likes of Harry want to work under them cunts? Nah, what would squeaky clean Harry want with the FA? Put his dog in charge.

Moyes might be a decent interim shout, although as a Scotsman he probably wouldn't want it either.

Mourinho wouldn't want it. Absolutely he won't. He might fancy a job at Spurs though ... I guess it depends if Levy's prepared to increase his wage structure by about a 100%.

Capello started well and fell away. Anyone who considered that his stewardship would bring rewards in the Euros must have based that on prayer rather than conviction. If Harry Potter could be secured - I reckon we will fare far better.

No pressure on us now at the Euro's. Might be a good thing. I read about Wales at the 1958 World Cup in Mel Charles' autobiography. No Welshman had heard of the tournament and the Welsh FA had booked the flights back for the day after the final group game. They reached the quarter-finals and it took Pelé to knock them out 1-0. Fresh man comes in for England gives them a simple task, simple tactics, nothing fancy. Who knows what could happen? ...he says putting pressure on them

Give it to big Emile.
The man is an England legend, get him and Titus Bramble in as his assistant.
At least with Titus around there's a good chance we could give another nation a dicking....

Capello got us comprehensively qualified twice. I don't think he can be solely blamed for the world cup debacle as the players had their fair share to do with that as well - The bit about them having to tackle boredom in a 5 star top quality accommodation did it for me. Unless its Harry taking over I'll be pretty gutted that he's gone right before the Euro's if I'm honest

A resounding 'meh' can be heard across the nation.
An incredibly talented manager, with more European titles than any British manager (or all of the Premier League managers put together) couldn't do anything more than reach the second round with the so called golden generation. I wonder why not. Is it because England are garbage? I think it is. You have to think that if a manager of Capello's ability can't get the team performing above their station, nobody can. Then again, he did lose the plot a bit at the World Cup.
I'll take anybody who picks his system and then picks the right players for that system, rather than putting in the players with the biggest reputation or biggest sponsor deals.

SSN: Gus Hiddink has put himself forward for the job tonight and would welcome an approach from the FA.
I'd rather have him than Harry I think.

SSN: Gus Hiddink has put himself forward for the job tonight and would welcome an approach from the FA. I'd rather have him than Harry I think. What's the point? He won't get anything more out of the team than Capello and both the press and players will be constantly trying to undermine him because he's a foreign manager. Back to square 1.
