Gone there already. Just stick Jerome on the left a nd Fuller in the middle. Fuller contributed nothing on the left

Coz Pulis is a prize cock?
Coz Pulis is a stubborn welsh prick?
Coz Pulis has no idea how to play without at least one big lumbering useless plank up front?
Take your pick. All 3 answers are probably correct!

no, but he's stil by far our best forward for how we play

A-Teen - Fuller is the best forward at the club bar none and he is the most adept at playing to the style of play we adopt.
His 15 minutes at Derby was the best 15 minutes of any Stoke forward this season and his 90 minutes in Besiktas was the best 90 minutes of any Stoke forward this season.
Only Crouch's little burst at Blackburn, his one and only decent game in a Stoke shirt, have come close.
We don't have any better options and Ricardo Fuller is perfectly suited to the way we play because he is particularly adept at making a silk purse from a sows ear, which is effectively the type of service our forwards receive.
Negative doesn't even begin to describe Pulis' approach to these games. He practically throws them!

Majority of fans see that Ricardo is no longer the player he used to be, hes no.longer the quickest, the most powerful, the most skilful player at the club...Hes no longer first name on the team.sheet.
Hes not the player he used to be...Fuller has been.brilliant fir us, one of best players of midern generation. But all good things come to an end. Every player has a time frame at a club and sometimes that time comes to an end before majority of fans want it to.
Im sorry but the future of Stoke isnt Ricardo Fuller. TP thinks so, hence reason starting/bringing Jerome on ahead of him

Righto! I hope we sell Fuller because I have to be brutally honest and say that I am sick and tired of reading about Fuller and the fact that he is no longer good enough for us.
My thought is "ungrateful bastard" but I'm sure that those of your persuasion have parents and I'm sure that you are grateful for many things in your life.
Nothing is sure to wind me up more than a spot of Fuller bashing though.
If you can't see exactly what he brings to our team, and you can't fail to see that in all its glory at Derby (given that it is the only time you are likely to have seen him in god knows how long) then I can only assume that you see football as a joyless affair.
Fuller (along with Pennant) brightened up the dullest of dull football games, even though it was against Derby!

I know I ask this a lot, but what is "Fuller's not what he used to be" based on exactly?
Let's have some evidence.
Jerome should have gone wide and Fuller should have gone up top.

In TP we trust!
Our team of plodders is duller than dull if the truth be told. We are barely worth watching most of the time.
We are brave and resiliant and we sometimes get pleasure after a backs to the wall performance (Liverpool, Spurs etc) but aside from that, we are simply dull, uninspiring and insipid most of the time.
We are 8th and we are doing great in Europe but Europe has been the only enjoyable thing about this season to date in my opinion. At most matches, I have been bored rigid!

So he sees them in training every day? All I can say is that like DaveF says he "thinks Woodgate and Huth at right back, Walters on the wing, Jones in the "withdrawn striker role" and Pennant on the bench are good ideas."
I trust my own eyes on this one, ta.

Fuller is still our most competent forward.
He is just a pain in the backside to defenders. Even in his 5 minute cameo against Liverpool he looked more threatening than anyone else.
He runs the channels and gives them an option. One that our other forwards do not offer.
If I was picking the team then he'd be starting, even if I have to sub him after an hour every single week!

With Regards to Woodgate...lack.of options in that position Wilko was injured, shotts was played for his defence abilities, having to protect woodgate...Pennant would protect either Woodgate or shotton...and neither are good enough to play ar RB when put under the pressure that Pennant would put them under..with little or no help from Pennant

It was doing that tonight that cost us the pen! Wilko was fit last Saturday and he still played Woodgate there. Shotton, Wilson, even Whitehead are all more viable options than Woodgate, who admitted he was, in his 30s, having to learn a position that was entirely new to him.

Dave jono spot on my friend!! Ricardo is one of only three stoke players that actually excite me, the rest are just a hard working unit. I'm so bored with stokes tactics this season, it's dam awful to watch, even when we win!!

I've given up predicting the team. I though palacios looked bright tonight, but he probably won't play. JP and Wilko are our best options on the right. They probably won't play.
Jerome has been been scoring, but that makes no difference. He may or may not play.
Crouch has been poor for the past month, but that doesn't make a difference. He will play.
Walters offers nothing apart from running around like a headless chicken. But he will play.
We need to play both wingers and either fuller/jerome and crouch/jones.

This, + after the game TP was more bothered about the ref getting the two penalty decisions wrong, rather than how little we created, again.
