Xicotet now sold out again. Grada Mar now has to be the place to buy. Lets just hope we are all close enough to MAKE SOME NOISE.

If the last posts are true and the police information is accurate, it really does make a mockery of the clubs initial decison to turn down an allocation of 7200 tickets because they would have to pay up front for them.
I wonder if the 6000 is including official purchases through the club or only in the home areas?
Regardless it is a fantastic effort given how difficult the club have made this trip in terms of ticket allocations.

sector 062 is in Gol Xicotet Alto which is on the same level and in the same end as the official Stoke away support. I believe that the official supporters section is 064 and block 063 is being left empty and will most likely be available for pay on the gate on the day of the game.
Gol Xicotet Alto runs the width of the pitch behind one goal.

Can't be bothered trawlling through the whole thread.
Do we need a Valencia membership number As well as the card we purchased the tickets with to get our tickets out of the machines? Some utd fans have told me we need a membership number?

loads of us mate. Should be quite a sight if all of us in the first row hang loads of stoke flags in their main stand. That will teach them to only offer us 2300 tickets ! Grada Del Mar, Sector 0060, row 1, seat 120 and 121!! Anyone else around there?! Goarrrnnnnn stoke!!

Section 63 x 5. All those who have purchased on line for tickets in away areas don't worry. Had txt of mate already in Spain , getting tickets out of the big yellow cash machines is easy.

With so many of us in the home part of the ground, you'd have thought that the powers that be would have the sense to relocate us all together. Can't see that happening though.

We'll see Menorca.
Only passing on what I was told. I believe what I was told but obviously have some slight doubt otherwise I wouldn't have purchased 6 in Sector 062 this morning.
There has been so much muddying of the water over this fixture that you just don't know what will happen but I do believe that there is likely to be one section, unsold, and available on the day, be that for paying Stokies or to move Stokies into from other sections.
The spare section, is, I believe, the section of the tickets that our club refused to pay for, in advance and on a non-refundable basis, when negotiating the ticket allocations.

If it's true that we COULDN'T have any more than 2300 tickets then fair enough. But if we were offered more (and turned them down), then it all just adds to the fact that some of the powers-that-be are STILL woefully out of touch with their own supporters

as I said earlier, lets just hope that WHOEVER is to blame here. is honest enough to come out at the end and say they got this wrong. No idea if that was really Valencia or Stoke, or a bit of both, but whoever, they hopefully will be able to see they got it hopelessly wrong and say so.

Stoke were never going to accept the rumoured alternative allocation of 9,000. Valencia don't care if opposing teams buy in the home areas - in fact arguably they prefer it that way. And in the end, everybody who wants to get in will be getting in. Nothing hopelessly wrong anywhere really.

Sorry PL - I cant agree with you. This process resulted in lots of extra frustration and worry for people that had made travel arrangements, and were left in an uncertain state for a long period of time before the actual situation was communicated. If you live remotely, like I do, the methods that the club put in place in these situations are never going to be adequate, so that is further stress also. I just think that the two clubs should have had a better process for resolving this and making it easier for the fans that wanted to travel to be able to make arrangements without all this hassle. I am only suggesting that whoever estimated that we would only need 2300 is big enough to say they were wrong (even if we cant agree that they were hopeless) ! as I said earlier, lets just hope that WHOEVER is to blame here. is honest enough to come out at the end and say they got this wrong. I guess that's Valencia - but they're not going to say they were "wrong" because they weren't - that's all they're obliged to offer and they're fine with any extra fans buying in the Valencia end. They're perfectly entitled to do that. Not ideal for Stoke fans and I agree it's been a bit nervy but VCF aren't there to cater for every away fan's needs. If you think it's been unsatisfactory this time wait until PSV give us half as many!

100k for unsold tickets?
How do you work that out? Based on the estimated number travelling, it would have cost the club less than 20k.
Considering the money that is coming into the club and given the fact that we were actively encouraged by the manager to "travel en masse" when the draw was made, I think thought the club would have tried to look after their supporters in whatever way that they possibly could on this one.
We should have taken the 7200 tickets that we were offered. If the club had then put on a reasonably priced trip and really gone to town with this massive fixture, we would have gone very close to selling all of the tickets available.
God help us should we get through and have to play PSV. I pray that Trabzonspor win that tie just in case we do win through in this one.
EDIT - It wouldn't be the first time that our illustrious Chief Executive had miscalculated the thoughts of the supporter base with regard to a particular tie.

And in the end, everybody who wants to get in will be getting in. Nothing hopelessly wrong anywhere really. Bristol, Man Utd were given 2300 allocation and they are a zillion times bigger than us. Chelsea were allocated 2300 and they are a million times bigger than us. Rangers were allocated 2300 and they used to be bigger than us. Valencia allocated the same to us, a much smaller club. Our club asked for more and were denied. Many people have made up stories that we were offered 7000, 9000 etc and I think you'll find it's utter bollocks. Valeencia for whatever reason then delayed giving the tickets to Stoke so they can't distribute something they don't have in their possession can they. At the end of the day we'll all get a ticket at a very reasonable price without any stress or hassel. I really can't understand the constant whinging and whining that goes on. Have people got nothing better to do. Come on the Paul Spencer, I'm awaiting your retort.

I'm with potterlog on this. Valencia gve us the minimum as they are perfectly happy for fans to mingle together. It's totally foreign to us but hey - that's European footie!
