It appears the fans have elected an interim board to take over the running.
Wasn't it a fans elected board that presided over ten years of total declineof they then booted out of the club to put another shower in who were ten times as bad?
Perhaps there is a lesson in there somewhere!
;D

Amazes me why many of the OVF contributors (and fans) wonder why investors aren't interested after their history of threatening the board potential sponsors and the general crap they vent upon anyone who seems to want to get involved. OK the latest dodgy duo, Miller and Deakin, were caught right out but some of the other stuff is just daft.

Mmmm...A good article indeed , but a story that leaves one none the wiser as to who is in charge and what the future is likely to bring ? Surely there is a strong case here for a full investigation by the FA ? It is better to be relegated than to suffer the indignity of further corruption and intrigue I would suggest. That may still happen I suspect, with some funds going missing.....

It is a good article. I know some folk here don't like the Vale that much but I feel sorry for the real supporters there and wish 'em well.

"Although loyal and long-suffering, it would be fair to say that the Vale faithful have historically been somewhat more tolerant than our neighbours down the A500. "
too hilarious for words, vale fans are the least tolerant moaning cunts in the world from personal experience

Their rules restricting shareholders to a maximum 24.9 per cent stake in the club will have to be scrapped to attract serious investment.

" too hilarious for words, vale fans are the least tolerant moaning cunts in the world from personal experience A number of Vale fans have pointed out to me that the goings-on up there would never have been allowed to happen at Stoke because somebody in power would very quickly have got their Bentley keyed / living room windows smashed in / head kicked in / a knife through their throat. And they're slightly envious. I think it's that sort of thing the writer's referring to rather than moaning about stuff.

Sending offal through the post addressed the chairman's wife is more their style.

Yes, but they haven't really got the courage of their convictions. Never mind sheep's hearts, Mrs Coates doesn't kinow how lucky she was in 1998 not to hear her hubbie's lungs plopping onto the doormat.
