Non-Stoke related but I'm preying someone can help me!
Has anyone ever had their itunes acc hacked? I have had £25 taken from my itunes account over the past 24hrs, and want to know how to claim this back. I have reset all my account details, but despite messing about for 2hrs +, I can't see how I can get hold of anyone about this hacking as I'm now concerned that this could happen in the future. I have tried all the support forums and can't believe how bad the customer service links are, it is terrible.
Anyone ever had this problem before? I so, who did you contact and did u get your money back.
Thanks Stokies

It happened to me too some weeks back. They sorted it out without fuss and refunfed me. This was the email address they used

This happened to me the other week but luckily my account was used to just download some free apps.
Nonetheless I wanted to bring it to their attention and make sure no further action could be taken so I phoned the American Apple call centre via Skype (to save money) and spoke to someone who guided me through making my account safe online. This was all at about 1am but worked out OK.
They were quite helpful but bizarrely, they're not supposed to talk to phone customers about iTunes Store queries so they'll only help you if you've got a piece of Apple hardware – iPhone, iPod, MacBook, anything, no matter how old.
I then emailed and got my account shut down altogether over the next few days.
Hope it works out for you. I'm a convert to Amazon MP3, it's a lot cheaper.

Normally you get an email whenever you pay for something through iTunes so you should be able to itemise whatever it is that the 25 quid was spent on.
Then you can dispute the charges.

I had 4 £25 vouchers purchased using my account, the only reason i found out was due to the receipt for the items being sent to my email address.
The first thing you do is to tell iTunes of the hack and they can work to trace the fraud back to the location. In regards to refund i was told to go directly to my bank (Natwest) and claim for an improper debit procedure. This basically took a single phone call to sort.
Both iTunes and Natwest were fantastic over it, with iTunes being in constant communications (all be it after a day or so from the original claim) and had an adviser personally look into the problem for you.
