Short passes and through balls aren't particularly promising.

Interesting. We've had almost double the percentage of shots in the 6 yard box than the next best team (Blackburn). Not a bad one to be top of

We scored less than ten percent of our goals from outside the box last season,so we do like to get close to the target....or we're not very good at long range shooting.Unsurprisingly we also scored almost a third of our goals with headers. And we led the league in scoring with "other body part"....Nice to see the ghost of Oulare lives on :-) I've collected all the stats for last year here if anyone's interested, cheers. thepowerofgoals.blogspot.com/2012/01/mode-of-scoring-epl-201011part-2.html

Short passes and through balls aren't particularly promising. The short passes one doesn't worry me. The majority of the short passes made by those at the top of the league will be in their own half where they can't do any damage.

The interesting stats are the ones are from where shots are taken.
The majority of ours take place in the 6 yard box.
Whereas the teams playing us take the majority of their shots outside the 18 yard box.
Our key tactic to get the ball in the opponents penalty area while keeping it out of our penalty area is shown prefectly.
