Heard he's homesick up at Sunderland and wants to return to the midlands.
I know we missed out when trying to sign him when he left Birmingham, i think he'd do a job for us in midfield and has a decent goalscoring record!
would you take him?

Doesn't Sorensen still live near to Birmingham? If he can commute, then Gardner surely can

We are not in the Midlands to anyone outside of North Staffs. More chance of Noble moving north from London than Gardener considering somewhere as far from Brum as Stoke.

Midlands mean Birmingham. We are not in the Midlands to anyone outside of North Staffs. More chance of Noble moving north from London than Gardener considering somewhere as far from Brum as Stoke. Is this the Craig Gardner who's at Sunderland? And hated every second of it and is now living in Brum and pretending Sunderland doesn't exist.

Is this the Craig Gardner who's at Sunderland? And hated every second of it and is now living in Brum and pretending Sunderland doesn't exist. So because he's hated living miles and miles away, living much, much closer is unthinkable? This is my favourite marchian logic since "Jerome will break our transfer record".

Decent lad , can slot in a right back too, I guess there will be a fair bit of wheeling and dealing behind the scenes going on over lots of players . I'm sure he would do well for us

i very underated player in my opinion, although he's a lifelong nose if he wants to return to the midlands Villa is a no go for him now after his antics whilst at sty andrews, so his best option to enhance his career looks to be the bearpit

He is the English version of Gibson from utd. Wouldnt say hes any better than Whelan when hes on form either, but he is younger than Whelan and has time to grow as a player.
