Going go in the depths of winter and fish Park pool for a few nights....
That is the smaller pool next to Wood pool.....
Does anyone know where the deepest part of Park pool is?...
Going fish it at night on float 'worms for bait' near any snags and holding areas and sleep during the day.....
Fished it many times but never plumbed the depths....
Thanks in advance....

I found an old map with a almost indecipherable script in red ink, dated 1775 in the attic. It says the late Lord Gawsworth put 19 giant japanese carp in the "Parke Poole" and fed them on slaughtered sheep heads.
I have scanned the map and attached it...on the back of the map it says "beware the flesh eating fish at the stroke of midnight"
Hope this helps.

I prefer here:- www.badenhall.com/fishery/the middle pool is great for catching them off the top in summer. Not to sure what tactics you would use in winter though.
