depends if i was a stoke fan and what the other options were. if i was neautral...i'd go for whichever team would suite my style. If i was a centre midfield who could pass...why would i go to Stoke?

The reaction of the vast majority of players would be, "how much they going to pay me?".
Players don't give a shit about the style of play, the fans or the club, they want as much money as possible. Players like Barry and Adebayor chose to join Citeh over playing Champions League football due to getting more money.
Obviously if Stoke and the shit were offering the same money, or Stoke were offering slightly more then the draw of playing for the shit would be enough for players to join them, but a lot of the time it's just about money.

How much is he offering!! Beacuse thats all it boils down to Not as straightforward as that. The player (or the agent paid to do the thinking) would also have to consider future earnings. If you're a player with bright future ahead of you like Tom Soares, you might make a few quid for 4 or 5 years, but then your career's down the shitter. The amount of players who join Stoke and then leave with their reputations and future earning prospects severely dented would have to be considered.

How much is he offering!! Beacuse thats all it boils down to True. But what would happen if we offered similar terms to another team who wanted the same player?? A team that passed the ball and uses the midfield. Would our "style" then become an issue??

A team that passed the ball and uses the midfield. Would our "style" then become an issue?? You'd have to think so. If I'm a midfielder who looks to pass the ball and 2 clubs came in for me offering the same money, then style would certainly be a factor. If one club ignores the midfield and t'other is renown for their passing style, I'd probably go to the latter where I can showcase my talents and improve my career.

So you don't think that if one club was in London and payed even slightly less that every single player even a Stokie born one would say ,"Are you having a laugh TP, I'm off down London ta ta".
Or in Manchester, or Newcastle or for that matter for the same money anywhere apart from Stoke.
Even Wolverhampton is seen as a more glamorous location than Stoke. (well ok not WBA or Bolton)

(well ok not WBA or Bolton) I dont agree with that. Most of our players live in the same plush south cheshire suburbs as those from Man U, Man City, and Liverpool. We have possibly struggled to bring southern based players away from London in the past but I dont think location is a massive issue.

I'd rub my hands together knowing that on the way to the meeting with me, Pulis would get wind of a good old fashioned arrd worker and would divert his attention, freeing me up for a move to another club!

If money was taken out of the equation and it were between Stoke and the other clubs in the bottom half of the table, then I would likely pick at least 4 of them before Stoke.
Style would be a big factor as it may determine your performances and therefore your chances of getting in the national team.

Can someone list all the players that we've sold for a good profit since TP joined, this should show how well he's developed them.

Player " I can pass and get forward so I would either be on the bench or played at left back. I hate the style of play but they are offering more money than the other team so Stoke it is "

I'd ask what the bench is like.
Is it like those nice Audi bucket seats they have at Manchester United? Or is it just a glorified theatre seat?
If the latter, I'd at least insist that they pulled a seat out of an early-90s Jaguar Sovereign from McGuinness' and installed that for me, with an iPod docking station and a porn rack built into the armrest.
