we would have won the game, and the board mood would be completely different. I know the ref didn't give them and we lost, but i think we improved massively compared to both the Bolton and Newcastle games.
Sure, lots of things need to get better, and Blackburn is a MASSIVE game, but I am very confident that we will get the 3 points against them and improve further.

If he had given the Pennant one we would have won I think! If he had given the Huth one we would at least have drawn!

Exactly.
Certain decisions change games and these decisions were major....
Wanker of a ref just like the whole god damned lot of e'm....

Also if the ref had given the Huth penalty Barton would have had a second yellow

Crouch not turning into bambi on ice in the penalty area when he did the hard work to make an opportunity would have won us the game - we wouldn't then be sitting here bemoaning the fact that the officials didn't do their jobs properly.
Can't rely on the officials to win us games, we have to take the (seemingly fewer and fewer) chances when they come...

You can't really say that about the first one though, can you? We then scored almost immediately off the back of it. If we had got that penalty and scored, we then wouldn't have had Walters' goal.

If the ref had given ManU a penalty at the start of the game and sent Woodgate off, then we would have lost that game.
We've had a pretty good rub of the green so far this season but didn't get it yesterday - we can't expect every decision to go our way.

One of the things I argue in conclusions this week is that not getting those penalties might turn out to be a blessing in disguise as it means that the problems we have throughout the side can't be glossed over.

If my sister had testicles she’d be my brother. We didn’t deserve to win QPR outplayed us and scored 3 goals without any controversy attached to any of them. We as the home team were one dimensional and are grasping at straws if you think we deserved anything from the game.

I'll have to read your conclusions Rob. However I'm not so sure ... I don't expect TP will continue with the same back four next week and I still don't think TP will acknowledge that it's essential for his man leading the line to have (at least some) pace and mobility.

I do however feel we deserved at least a point.

I can see that happening, but surely Pulis must acknowledge the value of a settled defence?

Up until the point when the ref started blowing for every little thing I thought we were alright. QPR played to slow the game down and stop play at every opportunity. When the game flowed we were a lot better. We deserved something from that game.

The problem was we conceded three goals AGAIN.
Not only are the midfield unable to create anything they are no longer protecting the back four.

Keeper did do very well I agree, especially with the first attempt but I don't think it's unfair to expect Crouch to have done much better - he'd done all the hard work to get in between then really should have stuck that away.
