I got married in the morning at the registry office and went to see Stoke beat Preston 2-1 in the afternoon at the Vic.
Anbody else go to the footy on their wedding day? ;D

No. I made sure the wedding date was outside the season. I was best man a my brothers 1st wedding and went to Stoke straight after the reg office. I didn't even do the reception. ;D The tosser is a dingle fan so it was an easy decision.

No but i did the day my 1st child was born.....beat Tranmere at home August 94 in 1st game of season......well i had been there all night as she was born at 12am and the wife had loads of visitorsn so i had to vacate the bed space Went with Tazi whose missus had also just had twins

The wife had loads of visitors and only 2 to the bed. It was actually her idea. ;D How the hell you people remember the games is beyond me. I can't remember who we played last month.

November 13th 1988....day AFTER my wedding I took the missus to watch Stoke beat Hull 4 nil but for a treat we sat in the Stoke end stand rather than stand in the Boothen...it was my honey moon after all

Yes we did in 1965 we played leeds that afternoon .I know we were winning at ht because my uncle came to the wedding from the game slipped a note to my best man to say we were winning lol the date 23rd october 1965 anybody know the final score for that game ??.Still support stoke and still married to a wonderful lady
