Hi all, I've been an interested spectator of this forum for a while now, its a cracking read and a welcome distraction from real life Just wanted to say how excited I am about tomorrow and what an opportunity it is for us to get back to basics ( saturday afternoon k.o whats that all about? ) The big opportunity is for us fans to get back to basics as the atmos this season has been shite, tomorrow we need to re-adopt the underdog mentality that made us such a ferocious force at wom instead of booing our heroes for not leading at half time, wheres the electric vibe gone that filled all of us with nervous excitement before every premier league home game and made us all sing together and get behind our team as one unstoppable force??? The players need us to support them unconditionally like its our first season in the prem, and us not to act like its our god given right to win every home game because its not The prawn sandwich mentality is creeping in and its starting to ruin our club, i wonder how many true fans weve lost to glory hunters over the last few years, some proper fans probably cant afford to attend due to recession etc which makes way for out of town glory hunters that jumped on the premier league bandwagon Wheres delilah gone?? Can someone start the shhhhhhhhing again so we can all sing it properly at the right speed?? Kenwyne is a stokie is a shite song aswell, whats happened to us?? Lets have a rendition of oh when the reds as soon as the ball is kicked off tomorrow from the whole ground and take it from there..... Sorry for the rant but i know im not the only one thats concerned about the stoke support of late 2-0 tomorrow, go on stoke

The underdog mentality eh.
Is that part of the three year plan to "push on" after spending £80m?

It's about time that we score 3-4 goals in a league game I think! Hopefully it will happen tomorrow! ;D

Underdogs against QPR hmm , but agree with the sentiment about support. However we need to see some sense in team selection as well because that's been the main problem in tandem with both wingers being off the pace.

I think compared to the spending power of qpr we are underdogs, it suits us though and helps to create the "bear pit" atmosphere

I think you'll find that during the last fews years that we have spent more on players than QPR besides look where they've come from...

Theyve come from the championship with a fuck load of money to spend on players that were considering a move to us, also our current form alone should make us underdogs.....

Did you know that hairspray is made from the shells which are removed from prawns...its mashed up and treated with acid. Then its refined and is called Chytosan. So all you veggies who use hairspray HAH!

I like prawns. I like to tear their little heads off, rip their bodies apart and swallow them whole with one bite. Which is what I hope Huthy will do to SWP tomorrow. ;-)

Must admit i'm an out of towner . . . also only been following Stoke for a couple seasons but have been following football in general all my life. May not be " hardcore " or " proper Stoke " but I will be driving 300 miles tommorrow for the game and i'm gonna sing my effing head off. Cheers all

The prawn sandwich mentality is creeping in and its starting to ruin our club, i wonder how many true fans weve lost to glory hunters over the last few years, some proper fans probably cant afford to attend due to recession etc which makes way for out of town glory hunters that jumped on the premier league bandwagon I think you will find most 'out of town' fans were supporting Stoke well before we got to the Premiership and are far from gloryhunters. Infact the 'glory hunter' element is more likely to be found living in North Staffs with a wardrobe full of old liverpool and shit shirts.

The underdog mentality eh. Is that part of the three year plan to "push on" after spending £80m? That is chickenfeed in the Prem. An absolute pittance, of which we have actually only forked out a minority. We are well down the pecking order and our wage bill remains one of the smallest in the Prem.

Oh, hang on. Big game tomorrow Dave. I have a sneaky feeling we are going to be hanging on to a one goal lead for a while before we claim the 3 points. Plenty of sweaty palms (and other parts of the body) at the Brit
