Rested and pumped up, Ryan AND Huthy Back at centre half Wilkinson and Higgy as fullbacks - takes Pulis a while but, we'll be back with what we know works best and, at home
Ethers and Pennant pumped up and ready to prove themselves to us once again
watch out QPR !!!
Crouch hat trick to boot
and - - roll on Saturday (after a near fortnight of meaningless bollocks)
easy this management malarky I reckon

Absolutely. Tone to have epiphany - Tommy between the sticks, restores Huth to CB, plays Palacios with Wilson, Jones and Walter up front. Ric as impact sub. 3-1 Stoke. You're right - dead easy.

Yes but don't forget he will always start delap for some reason, that takes the attack out of midfield, 50 long balls and 30 pointless throwin's

We are lucky to have 5 players who we would all be pretty happy with 3) Crouch - hard to pay £10m and then leave on bench, but if he ain't good enough then I can go with that

Whelan is playing tonight so I would leave him out and play Deano . Let Deano get stuck into Barton.

I think we'll win and I don't care how scrappy because if we don't then we are down in the relegation scrap with lots of hard away games to come .

Huth was brilliant last season and I've always championed him but I seriously couldn't argue with the Upson/Shawcross partnership which (IMO) has been our best combination this season. Shawcross looks a better player alongside Upson than alongside anyone else IMO.

Last time my son and I were in Stoke, was for the Arsenal game in May. We're coming over for this one, and I'll settle for a 3-1 home win :-)

I'll have what you've been having , it obviously does wonders for your optimism ....................wait a minute I've just put on my rose tinted glasses and can now clearly see that a thrashing of QPR is , indeed , likely as a result of TP's having listened to recent criticism and therefore picking players in their best positions ;D. I seriously do hope that the recent break in fixtures has done wonders for the team and that you're right , though . Gooaarn Stoke !!

Still think Huth's the best right back at the club? I guess not aimed at me rob but it's fairly well aimed because I argued Huth over Wilco when Huth first signed. At the time I wanted Huth at CH but argued that I'd rather see him in the team at full back than not in the team at all. Wilco has improved no-end since then (IMO) and it's a much tougher argument for me now. Splinters in my arse as usual. ;D

I'll be amazed if Woodgate, if fit, doesn't play.
Not saying that's the correct selection by no means.

Floodgate to keep his place, Huth at RB, Wilko at LB, maybe chuck Salif in the middle, Palacios in the stand wondering what a mistake signing was.

Christ... This season bearing that out is it? So Wilko is better because he hit the bar against Man Utd? No, he's better because he's more comfortable at right back than Huth and plays better in that position than him. The team looks more balanced with Wilko there and Pennant looks better with someone to link with and overlap there.
