What's he said that Pulis might be offended by? ???
My reading of what he said was all positive and the point about playing with different strikers just trying to emphasise his versatility as a player rather than any criticism of the manager or his selections.

I get the impression that the manager doesn't like his players away on International duty. He rarely plays them after an International appearance. Jonny suggesting he will put his body on the line surely wont have the manager saying good for you Jonny boy. In fact in my post I am saying the same...take it easy lad we need you....you might not agree with what I have posted, but does this help to explain it a little more for you? Hope so.

Not that it matters a dot Cuz, but I really don't have a clue what you're talking about. Whelen plays every Stoke game after international duty. Pulis wouldn't have Walters playing anything other than 100%, often anything less leads to, rather than preventing injury. The only point you make in your post is that your 'Not sure Tony will be happy reading this', so rather than 'explaining it a little more' to me, I must admit I'm more confused than ever. Thanks for trying to educate me though, it's much appreciated.

I think Pulis has softened his stance on International duty a bit in the last year or so.

Yes take it easy, Jon. It's not like it's a Euro 2012 play-off game or anything.

"As soon as you underestimate teams you get a kick up the backside. So that's the last thing anyone in the squad will be doing. It's the worst thing you can do."
The sooner ALL stoke players AND stoke fans get back to this mentality the better.
