Absolutely nothing in it, they have a rule, no tampering/adding to the national shirt, and they are enforcing it. A slippery slope when you let one nation start adding things.
The bit most pathetic about that article is -
'The decision will further discredit FIFA, which has faced numerous corruption allegations in recent years and seen two of its executives depart following a bribery scandal.'
How will it, completely unrelated? Absolute wank journalism, yes it would be a nice touch, but thems the rules and the FA would have known about it.

On the contrary , I think it is a good article which once again highlights the insensitive idiots mentality at the top of world football. This news is simply one more log on the fire of inept incompetance.

In fairness, the FIFA argument would carry more weight were it not for the fact that they allowed Cameroon to wear a romper suit in the 2006 World Cup Finals.
typical Daily (Hate)Mail journalism, but a pointless piece of legistlation nonetheless.

Players are allowed to wear tape on socks etc, etc, why no poppy that is sewn into the shirt? Maybe a poppy armband or something could be used, hopefully the players will just defy the FA!

Look, the RBL know more about this than most people ( except of course the Daily Mail which as we all understand is the all knowing chronicle of shining righteousness, or croc of shite for short) and if its ok with the British Legion its ok with me!
